WHOLE & HALF COW INFORMATION
Whole Cow $5.75 LB/hanging weight. $200 non-refundable deposit is required.
You are responsible for the processing fee.
Half Cow $6.75 LB/hanging weight. $200 non-refundable deposit is required.
You are responsible for HALF the processing fee.
Our payment is due in full before you can pick up your meat from the processor or have it delivered. Deposit is deducted from the total cost. We will know the exact price once the cow has been taken to the processor.
This price is based on hanging weight (not live). Usually, our lives cows are anywhere between 800-900 LBS; you can expect to get about half of that in hanging weight.
The hanging weight of the cow and the weight of cuts you get, will not match. The weight goes down after it has been processed.
A cut sheet will be sent to choose cuts.
Wide Open Spaces takes the cow to be processed, we will pick up the processed meat you have the option to meet us at the processor or at HB Hardware to pick up. The meat will need to be picked up the day we pick it up from the processor. We will let you know 1-2 days in advance.
